Logistics Sector Skills Unit

OLA expanded its role and obtained a license to operate as a Sector Skills Unit for the Logistics industry in the year 2019. The Logistics Sector Skills Unit's mandate is to build a skills system that is driven by the logistics industry demand with the intended objective of bringing together all the stakeholders, industry, human resources, and academia for conducting research and development activities for skills development and skills up-gradation for the industry.

  • Developing national occupational standards for jobs within our industry.
  • Defining qualification profiles.

    Inception of LSSU

    Established under the Ministry of Labor, LSSU was launched to address skill gaps and align workforce capabilities with industry demands.

    Strategic collaborations began with key stakeholders including OLA, OPAL, and private sector employers to develop industry-responsive frameworks.
